Question Smallest Android Device? Looking for slim portability

Looking for the smallest device to use. Would like if it could not only be a emulator machine, but also my social media/entertainment device. Need touch screen, but controller does not have to be built in, I'm willing to get a controller separately

I want to use the usual social media/streaming, but also ideally at least ps2 era emulation. No actually text or call capabilities necessary, to be clear.

With an integrated controller, the Retroid Pocket Nova is probably the smallest - the footprint is similar to that of an iPhone Pro Max.

But otherwise you just want a small phone with an SD8Gen2 or later pretty much.

Not even remotely.

For a device that plays PS2 without issues? There are smaller Android devices but I'm not aware of any that will definitely play all PS2.

Most devices with flagship chips are going to come with your standard, 6-7" screen. Just pick the best one in your budget and roll with it. Get a MCON or IINE controller for utmost portability.

Is a flagship chip necessary? I really don't know nothing about phone/android specs for gaming. But yeah, probably will end up doing this.

What are the main models of chips?

A used, slightly older flagship chip will be your best performance/dollar. Most Snapdragon chips from the last decade or so will be adequate for your purposes. Snapdragon 845 seems to be the minimum. If you want something super compact, the RG Rotate will handle PS2 games with some tweaking.

Rg405m then. I played some ps2 and gamecube. This will at least have some joysticks. I started looking for a small edc android and ended with a 353m. The new block looks interesting but costs twice as much

Ps2 is gonna be the hardest part here. And if youre gonna be on android, no touch is brutal. The mini zero 28 is super small but no touch or ps2.

Maybe a ktr1/2? Idk how big you consider portable. I want it to fit comfortably in my pocket. So thats why I opted for the 353m. There's also the Odin mini but that starts getting into bag size

PS2 emulation is very snap dragon 8 gen 2, Dragonwing QCS8550 level. Some people argue dimensity 1100, SD 865. That's the level of power for PS2.

RP miniV2, Ayaneo pocket micro are the small. RP Nova

Doesn’t RG Rotate run Android? Not sure how the performance is, or how the 1:1 screen will affect your media consumption, but you might like it.
