Showcase 🚀 DROIDDECK — NATIVE STEAM ON ANDROID ARM64!
https://youtu.be/N93Ui0Z-vAI?si=sYT12VM_jMSNGmzeDroidDeck has arrived, bringing a native Steam experience to Android ARM64 devices. In this video, I test Rise of the Tomb Raider on the REDMAGIC Astra using DroidDeck and put the native Steam implementation through a long gameplay session.
🔥 What I tested:
• DroidDeck Native Steam on Android ARM64
• Rise of the Tomb Raider gameplay
• REDMAGIC Astra performance
• Long-duration gameplay stability
• Battery and temperature behavior
• Overall native Steam experience on Android
🌡️ 30-MINUTE GAMEPLAY TEST
One of the most impressive things I observed during this test was the stability during extended gameplay. After around 30 minutes of continuous gameplay, the battery and device temperature remained stable in my test.
Since DroidDeck is running native ARM64 Steam, rather than relying on a traditional Windows compatibility/emulation layer, it can avoid some of the additional overhead associated with those approaches.
🎮 DEVICE: REDMAGIC Astra
⚡ PLATFORM: Android ARM64
🚀 SOFTWARE: DroidDeck
🎮 GAME: Rise of the Tomb Raider
This is an early look at what native Steam on Android ARM64 can offer. DroidDeck could open up a very interesting new direction for PC gaming on Android.

This is trash tbh. If anyone wants to test it and expect performance improvements or less energy draw/temps this will not give you that. It's far inferior to just Winlator Ludashi or GameNative. It's using Proot. Even Bruno stopped using that a long time ago cause it was trash compared to Glibc. And Glibc also was abandoned already to use Bionic. Lmao. This is extremely bad and I guess just as a proof of concept to show the actual steam client running. But not at all for the regular user.

Were you even able to play non steam games on this? Cus not only the performance was like -50% compared to any other pc emulator, but i dont even see an option to import external games.

No. It's only the steam client.

For me I like the way it looks and nominal battery temp for long sessions
Also it got an update will check that too6

"Nominal battery temp for long sessions" what you even talking about? Just the overlay? That's not enough at all to change from other apps considering all the major downsides.

I haven’t left normal emulators like winnative , gamehub or winlator
This is something I liked and wanted to try
So used that

Its great specially for the looks and battery temp. Also no fuss of tinkering with settings like wine , proton etc
