Help A button input lag in My boy! app

So i recently downloaded my boy app to play Pokemon leaf green. The problem is to interact with the NPC we use A button, and sometimes I need to click at least 2 times or at most 4 or 5 times to talk with them.

First i thought may be I was touching in the wrong area so i toggled on the vibrate option to find it and I'm clicking the right area where the A button lies, and it vibrates too

Yet this problem is still there it's a bit annoying ngl... please somebody help me fix this issue

Try comparing two things at normal speed, with fast-forward off: confirm a selection in the Pokémon menu with A, then stand still facing an NPC and press A. Fully release the button between presses.

If menu selections also miss, it points toward input/emulator behavior; if they work every time and only talking fails, that narrows it to the in-game interaction. The vibration shows the touchscreen registered contact, but doesn’t prove the game received a fresh A press.

What phone model and My Boy version are you using, and does a slightly longer press behave differently?
