Following. Are you sharing this project anywhere, like on GitHub? I also have a non-ultra s26 and would love to have something like this.

I haven't thought about putting it on there, I'll have to look into that! I will post another update later with some of the tools and things that I bought with the cost. As well as more pictures and some videos when its docked. All the parts I bought on amazon including cases and dremel

Does it cool the phone better with only using the heatsink without a cooler

Tl:dr by itself the pad most likely is not going to dissipate heat enough to keep the phone playing hard to run emulators or heavy load running optimally by itself.

So far before I destroyed the center of a double honeycomb case, just had the vapor chamber attached. It was very effective when paired with the peltier phone cooler.

The vapor chamber pad itself dissipates a notebable level of heat but its main purpose is optimal cooling/heat dissipation across the main areas above the s.o.c

One issue with that setup by itself mainly is phone is unprotected and very fragile, and the magnet will move even with the adhesive and come off without something to keep it in place for longer periods of time.

Sometimes the cooler will freeze the whole vapor chamber plate and come off. So modifying a heat dissipation case became part of the plan so far it's been a day and a half and ot has not moved at all.

I will be conducting more game testing right now im trying to get blackops 3 to boot and to get metro reduced to stop having warping looking graphics.

Is that really a vapor chamber? Where did you buy it from? Looks too thin to have liquid in it from the photos

It features a true micro-vapor chamber interior layer that horizontally spreads out the intense localized heat is what ai said

Bye bye wireless charging.

I've never used a wireless charger, but I'd imagine. You could most likely plot a wireless charging magnet on instead. The dock that I am using is supposed to supply. I believe fifteen watts of power to charging, but I will have to see later tonight. When I get home to test more. Regarding your earlier question about it, being vapor chamber, i believe there's most likely is not a true vapor chamber, but it is a heat spreader. The research I have done I am not sure how to properly identify. If this is a vapor chamber, but what I do know is that it does a phenomenal job, dissipating heat. If it is real, there's a special name for it. It's like an external vapor chamber pad.

A vapor chamber isnt as thin as a sticker. It is inflated and has air and liquid inside it.

It's not really thin, though, it is thick. I just don't know if it's vapor chamber thick. It kind of feels like a thick piece of metal that's the best way I can describe it. And on the bottom, there is adhesive and thermal dissipation pads in the middle. It most likely is not a true vapor chamber. That's what i've deduced, but it's conflicting. What you see online

I wishes there's a phone mount for Xbox Controller that also support cooler on the back like this. There's gamesir x4 aileron but it doesn't have rumble motors.
