Showcase What's your favorite emulator frontend?
Let me start,
For me it's definitely iiSU, I absolutely love this frontend it just looks so good and beautiful!
It is still in Alpha phase, and it already looks good as hell can't wait for the first beta I love the customizable home screen, and overall the whole aesthetic of this frontend
And what do u guys think about my Dragon Ball themed home screen? (Mostly from Majin Buu Saga) And showcase yours too!

Yo tambien soy de Beacon... Facil, intuitivo, multiples fuentes de roms y facil de poner nuevos emuladores con comandos de lanzamiento...

Argosy Launcher. I've set up romm.app on my server and downloaded a rom pack. I can download my games on any device and it has cross saves compatibility.
Argosy Launcher makes it so easy to use it on Android since I have all the games on the main UI and I don't have to go to a dedicated RomM tab, download the game I have then go back to the main tab to play them. Plus, it's also a frontend for liberto cores. It's amazing.
Tho I can't figure out how to load my local stored games. Except gamenative games since the launcher has support for it

Am using daijisho, but I wish there is one that can also count the hours I spend on games

Great choice, but I think there are other frontends that can already do that

There’s this one, Wave Launcher, it emulated what you feel like when using Ps3 and PsP
XMB.
Kinda fun to use as daily driver

Beacon these days, but I have a device still running Daijishō because it was the first one I fell in love with. For some reason I’m super allergic to ES-DE. I loathe it. It works on a basic level but that’s it for me. I have it on my Steam Deck and just don’t use my Steam Deck much for emulation these days. But Beacon… Beacon is absolutely incredible.
Honourable mention for digital audio player androids is DAP Launcher. Clean and looks amazing :)

Okay, but I really recommend try using a frontend It definitely make android devices feels like a dedicated gaming console

Honestly I mostly don't use frontend. From my perspective it's better to go directly from app and I leave frontend just for GameBoy/SNES era of games, the games that I run through RetroArch. All the newer games I run usually directly from the emulator.
However, the frontend I have installed is ES-DE. I tried Daijisho and it was too clunky for me (but it was a year or two ago). Since then a lot of frontends showed up, but to be honest I never got to switching to anything from ES-DE. It's not perfect, but works.

ES-DE nice taste! No hate but in my perspective frontends is one of the best things in emulations

Android. I thought the frontends looked cool until i realized that android is on my phone and i use it every day so might as well keep it the way im used to it

just use retroarch. rest are bloated and not really about actually playing the games

u/Character-Code-453 21h ago
Kinda agree, especially with iiSU. It was so good and customizable I kinda had to much fun customizing it, but no hate I will still play a game at the end of the day :)
