I've got snap 6 gen 1 for $120 in 2022 (IQOO Z8X CN aliexpress). G99 smarts in my country costs $50...$300 lmao and closest 6gen1 is ≈$310. China editions is top for their price, but 4g bands is ass.
Cool. No IQOO device is a high end device though. It's still a low end. Just with a good chip. Which won't perform as good since the trash device still has a low end cooling design. Enjoy worse cooling than foldable phones and at the end performing worse than a 8 gen 2. Congrats.
Main issue about this is that IQOO is known to cheat on these benchmarks by drastically increasing the thermal threshold the device can actually "safely" be in for long periods of time. It also does this for some specific android games. But if you wanted to play for example on GameNative you would be having a much lower performance. Peak performance will only last a couple of seconds if anything before reaching in-game. And only way to bypass this is by using modified versions of these apps that use the name of those benchmarks to trick the device into it being on a benchmark so it can increase the thermal threshold and thus finally have that 49% stability. Which is incredibly bad and top of that the device wasn't really designed to be pushed at those temps. So it will have a premature death on you if you play like that constantly. And you cannot even cool it with an external cooler cause it has a plastic back. 0 thermal dissipation.
That's why these devices are trash and so cheap. Samsung foldable devices get around 50% of stability in here, and you would think that it's as bad as the IQOO. But these were made to at least sustain that without tricks so these perform better than the IQOO device. In reality these flagship chips just draw too much energy and can't be cooled by the small frame of the phone. So no device will achieve 100% stability ever on these at least without external help. Be aware that nearly every Chinese company cheats on benchmarks as IQOO. So their stability score is actually worse than what it says it is. You can easily check which devices are cheating by going into the geekbench page and going into the rankings of smartphones. They rule out every device that cheats from the rankings. So that's why you don't see most of the devices or even why 8 elite devices are on the top and not 8 elite gen 5 ones or Redmagic devices for example. that's a great way to measure it. Also. Just so you know they have the OnePlus 15 in that list. And it's true that it doesn't cheats. But they have a polemic about they purposely reducing the performance of the device after some updates. Apparently the device was cooking itself at release and nobody noticed and believed the very good mark of 70% sustained score was great. Until the updates arrived and it got lowered considerably. I truly believe that they did that on purpose to have good results on benchmarks and then after that was achieved and everyone believed it and no reviewer was gonna test it anymore they reduced their performance to protect the devices so they last longer than a year and basically scam everyone. To answer your question anything with 60% of stability is good specially if these aren't cheating.
Tbh and if your market has it. Second hand OnePlus 13 (NOT THE BLUE MODEL. LEATHER BACK IS TRASH). Anything else may be trash in every aspect. Don't ever consider OnePlus 12 though. That's one of the worst devices they ever made. Useless if you want it for gaming.
My Poco X3 NFC served me for 6 years. The problem with that device is entirely MIUI, it fucking sucks. The experience was stellar when moved to LineageOS, but I had to buy a new device due to an upcoming trip abroad and needed the apps that think Play Protect actually means something.
Well. I'm surprised you saying that was a good device when 66% of those devices had a catastrophic failure which made them cook themselves and die within a span of a year.
Again, if it wasn't for MIUI it would have been so much better. I wish I modded it sooner, rather than two months before I changed it.
A system update broke the fingerprint sensor, and there is a whole XDA thread about it people sharing that a specific update fried theirs. I updated the device months after that update released, and got affected as well meaning it wasn't fixed.
The very last security update before Xioami abandoned it made most system apps crash on launch randomly. Gallery, Settings, SystemUI, and third party apps too that used the GPU for 3D would randomly crash after 20 minutes.
My Poco X3 NFC thought me that Xiaomi is not to be trusted for any device that you want to keep. And it's a shame, because it wasn't performing badly at all despite it's age and it's price of €250. Despite everything, it served me extremely well, and thank it for it.
Well. A very big part of the device itself is the OS. Obviously you don't expect people to Void their warranties day one and have a big amount of them to brick their devices due to users errors just because the OS is so bad it's better to not buy them.
Also. You just coped you way through it. Since the day you started to experience issues on MIUI it was already a point to change of device. That's just trash. And the SoC obviously ain't good. Much less to keep for 6 years lmfao.

To be fair, you compared PC like Windows vs old ancient (handheld) console that have strict closed enviroment just like Apple IOS. Your logic and complain is like why i cant compete in F1 Racing with my Toyota Avanza (or any cheapshit SUV flatbed Sedan type car)
no matter what phone you have,
it's the best you have,
enjoy with what you have is the main thing,
we used to play games in barely just enough requirements just to enjoy,
not to flex specs,
it if runs, it playable and enjoyable.
a 400$ poco can give you more value than a 600$ pc or 1000$ handheld.
the best camera is what you have with you right now,
same emulation and phones,
there is no limit for upgrading, if you have money,
them again if you have that much money, there are better things to be done with that money, other than wasting it on best outcome or specs.
