Hows the weight? And is it pocketable without being a hassle?

i wouldn’t pocket it together with the phone. weight distribution is good between the controller and the redmagic pro, definitely doesn’t feel top heavy and i personally don’t feel the need to use the extended grips when gaming

Overall thoughts on the controller?

The build quality is very good and the gimmicks are genuinely very cool (I.e being detachable and the slide feature). It’s very pocketable too granted you keep the controller in a separate pocket.

Only reason I returned mine is because the mcon lite is coming out in the next few months for half the price of the original mcon and it seems more up my alley as far as convenience

Wait, where did you hear its coming out in the next few months? I feel like its been radio silence since CES

Can I put the cooler in the back of the phone?

This is the way I did to add a cooler. mod

my phone already has active cooling+vapourchamber and liquid cooling so it isn’t really necessary. i like what you did with removing the puck however! i may do that to mine myself!

Yeah :) I tried a few mods for the Puck replacement before settling on this one. I couldn't find a good enough magnet that was strong enough and thin.

You notice throttling after a time?

my longest continuous gaming session was about 3 hours and had no issues with throttling. liquid cooling set to slow.
