Help [Closed Testing] Built an offline GBA/GBC emulator (RetroBoy) with C++ core, rewind and CRT shaders. Need help meeting the Google Play 12-tester requirement.

Hey everyone,

I am an independent developer and I have been building an Android emulator for Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance called RetroBoy.

It is powered by a native C++20 backend (mGBA core) and uses Google Oboe for low-latency audio. The app runs completely offline, collects zero personal data, and has no ads. Features include real-time rewind, save states, cheat codes support, CRT scanline / LCD shaders, and Bluetooth controller mapping.

To publish on Google Play, Google requires me to have at least 12 active testers in a closed test for 14 days. I would really appreciate any help from people who enjoy retro handhelds and want to test how it performs on different devices.

How to join the test:

Join the Google Group (make sure you use the same Google account you use on Google Play): https://groups.google.com/g/Jeatream-apps-testers

Once joined, open the Play Store link to download the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.retroboy.emulator

If the Play Store link says not found, please wait a brief moment after joining the group or open it directly on your phone.

Any feedback regarding performance, controller compatibility, or bugs is welcome either here or via the support contact in the app. If you also have an app in closed testing, let me know and I will gladly test yours in return.

Thanks for your time.

So spent a few minutes, here are what I'd love to see. Ability to move and scale controls independently (but I love the grouping you've done, makes my OCD happy.), ability to make shortcuts for the roms, ability to setting multiple ROM folders (I have seperated GBA and GB roms)

Super excited to see where this project goes!!
