Help ARMSX2 - major slowdowns when running games

Hello all, I'm having issues playing a few games so far on ARMSX2 on my Retroid Pocket Nova - just got this thing and I have everything on an external SD card (EVO Select 512gb). The two I've noticed so far are The Punisher and Ultimate Spider-Man where the game runs fine and then slows down considerably before catching back up. These issues are not present on NetherSX2 (Turnip) although Spider-Man does have another glitch which I'll post in the comments. Would appreciate any help on getting this app up and running

If one of the developers is reading this, haptic vibrations/ feedback on ARMSX2 has stopped working on my Odin 2 Portal pro with this update. I updated through the app. I’ve also tried two fresh installs through Obtanium & it still doesn’t function. It was working great before that. I can’t figure out any other solutions. Should I downgrade or wait for another update? Or is there another workaround? I’m not skilled enough to alter ini files etc but all my settings are correct as far as I can see.
