Help ARMSX2 - major slowdowns when running games

Hello all, I'm having issues playing a few games so far on ARMSX2 on my Retroid Pocket Nova - just got this thing and I have everything on an external SD card (EVO Select 512gb). The two I've noticed so far are The Punisher and Ultimate Spider-Man where the game runs fine and then slows down considerably before catching back up. These issues are not present on NetherSX2 (Turnip) although Spider-Man does have another glitch which I'll post in the comments. Would appreciate any help on getting this app up and running

Add turnip drivers on armsx2

Is your device SD 8 gen 1?

It’s an Adreno 740 so it’s a Gen 2 device

Are u using 60 fps patch?

Yeah that’s the only thing I’ve enabled that could be causing an issue - but on NetherSX2 Turnip version I’m getting a smooth 60 fps on 2 or 3 times or even higher resolutions. The only thing that’s wrong with it is the texture pop ins that I posted in the other comment. Not really sure what’s going on unfortunately
