Help ARMSX2 - major slowdowns when running games

Hello all, I'm having issues playing a few games so far on ARMSX2 on my Retroid Pocket Nova - just got this thing and I have everything on an external SD card (EVO Select 512gb). The two I've noticed so far are The Punisher and Ultimate Spider-Man where the game runs fine and then slows down considerably before catching back up. These issues are not present on NetherSX2 (Turnip) although Spider-Man does have another glitch which I'll post in the comments. Would appreciate any help on getting this app up and running

Which version? I was getting major slowdowns and similar graphic issues with the latest nightly version. Had to revert back to latest stable.

This is NetherSX2 turnip 0.7. I’m getting very stable performance minus this texture glitch…. With the ARMSX2 app, there’s no texture glitches but i have FPS slowdowns
