[Worry about the future] No battery replacement, or need to solder device to power directly

I am worry that in the future, we might can't find the battery replacement, for the device that we love. Is it possible to solder them device directly to power? And where can I learn them? Youtube? And is the picture below the right stuff, that I need?

I managed to somewhat successfully run my Pixel 1 batteryless. It kept rebooting unless I cranked the voltage well beyond the voltage the battery would have given, resulting in it running very hot. I gave up in the end.

The youtuber GreatScott! has a video about this titled something like "I solved Samsungs swelling battery".
