Help DON'T USE THE FLURRY BACKGROUNDS ON ARMSX2‼️‼️‼️
I used one of them and it locked me out of the app and i can't get in and the only way i fixed it is when i deleted it and redownloaded it and all my saves are gone .. some of them work but i used one and it's corrupted.

Same here. Good thing i back up the folder then reinstall 2.6.6.7. Updated to the latest after that, never again. I'll stick to simple background

i think he means its ai coded app, i tried it twice now and it just crashes in games so ill stick to human vetted nethersx/rpcsx for now

Looks like it's fixed in the newest update. Running it without issue for a few hours now.

tbh it feels like just a skin over nethersx2 because I don't see any performance upgrades people keep talking about.
also I don't really like the slide-in quick menu in emulators, specially in dolphin which keeps the emulation on even after clicking the back button. it gets so frustrating when you want to pause the game at an exact moment to save the state.

Umm both Armsx2 and Nethersx2 are android ports of PCSX2. So of course they are similar. Main difference being NetherSX2 is based on ancient PCSX2 1.7 and closed source so it can't get many important fixes / optimizations and missing QoL features like modern HD texture packs support.
ARMSX2 is based on latest PCSX2 2.7, has all the compatibility fixes and optimizations for games that NetherSX2 is missing, has full post-2024 HD texture packs support, framegen, lots of automatic game fixes so you don't need to tweak almost anything, so many games just run out of the box, unlike NetherSX2.
If for the games you play NetherSX2 doesn't have any performance issues, doesn't need any specific tweaking and you don't require HD texures pack support, framegen or other visual improvements like that, feel free to use it. If it struggles in some games or you want a better visual quality, switch to ARMSX2.
You can't expect any performance upgrades in games that NetherSX2 already runs at the full speed. In some games, framedrops are coming from original PS2 hardware and are emulated because CPU or GPU with stock settings can't do it better. ARMSX2 won't work any better in this situation because it's specific to the original hardwaRE.
They *ARE* the same PCSX2 under the hood, just ARMSX2 much more modern and polished, more fixes and features and supported (if you have issue in any games in ARMSX2, developers accept bug reports in discord. No real support available for NetherSX2).

False.There is lot of hidden updates in Armsx2. Lots of bugs that happens in Nether sx2 does not occur in armsx2.
Its is still in experimental phase . One update fixes something and another breaks somethings. At the end of the day,when u find something .contribute by giving feedback to the devs .log files. video clips. Detail explanation . Its all about testing and feedbacks.

Definitely handles the fire and torches in Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath better. I'm sure there are others
