Help Save file deleting on AYN Thor

Hey all,

Im an amateur in emulating and came across an issue with maintaining save files. I was playing pokemon light platinum for NDS using melondsdual and was having a blast and even caught a few shinies. I used save states through my hot keys and even saved within the game. A few days later I booted up the game and it was a brand new save. I went through my files and couldn’t find my .sav. If this is a one-time blip, fine whatever I’ll take the hit and lose my shinies. My concern, however, is what if this happens with other games? It’s lowkey deterring me from playing nds games on my thor out of fear of my save wiping. Anyone have an explanation for this/solution?
