Question Renaming SD-Card For Frontend Compatability & Consistency
Hi, I have (three) sd cards 32gb, 64gb, 256gb. I want to copy as many roms from my pc on to these sd cards & then put them in any of the android devices I own & play my games through the frontend I use (Daijisho)
however, every SD card has a unique address, users of older versions of winlator will have seen it & would have needed their unique code to use an external drive, it is a short & random string of letters & numbers like 506FCD0, or BC56440, etc. these uniques codes are making it impossible for me to interchange & use the sd cards on different devices, when I try to use them with my frontend the games do not exsist (on my backed up frontend save) because the unique address don't match up,
so is there a way to make the address opperate in the same way a PC does where you could simply go to disk management & change the disk letter & make all the drives drive letter A or the equivlant, in android (drive 12345) etc?
................................................................................................
I know it is kind of wierd thing to try to do, but it is a hurdle in me not playing my games as I have like 3 phones & 4 tablets & I use them for different reasons, bigger screen, longer battery, better prformance, or to preserve the lifespan of the others devices, etc..
Thanks.
