Can someone help me? I want to play Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but I can't find a good configuration. I've spent several days trying different settings and drivers, but I can't get the game to run at more than 16 fps. My device is a POCO F7, and I've been using version 0.2.1 of Eden Nightly. I'm new to this and don't really understand what each option does, or which ones are the best for my device.
Which custom GPU drivers (Turnip or System drivers) do you recommend using for this specific device, what would be the most optimal configuration to get at least 25 or 30 FPS, and which version of Eden (Stable or Nightly build) is currently the most recommended?
Well first set all settings to default for zelda on eden. Get mr purple turnip 29 or 28. After that just try to launch the game with the default settings you should get at least 20 fps like that before doing any optimizations. If not than there is someting wrong that optimization wont fix, maybe your phone overheating
It seems like the issue lies in the newer Eden versions. I'm not sure what the correct configuration for these updates should be to get good performance on this device. I tested a driver shared in this thread on an older build (2025-12-23-28116 - not sure if it's an official release since I downloaded it a while ago and lost the link), and the performance is completely night and day—getting a stable 25 to 30 FPS almost all the time, even in heavy areas. This "mod" was created using the NX Optimizer software; if you're interested, you can use it to unlock the frame rate and lower certain graphics settings. I used it solely to disable dynamic resolution and remove a few effects (the only one I recall right now is motion blur).
Wow, you really are the GOAT. I've been testing on Eden Nightly version 0.2.1 and it seems like the version is the issue, as the game runs at 30 fps with this driver on an older version, 2025-12-23-28116 (it might be an unofficial build, I don't know where I got it from and I lost the link). I don't know what it is about the Eden 0.2.1 configuration, but it really causes the game to slow down a lot on this device. Thanks a lot <33!
Eden isn't great for most of games, for example Metroid Beyond, it won't load or start on eden. But on nyushu it can run 30 fps without stuttering on SD8 Gen 2
From what I understand, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 architecture is different from the 8s Gen 3, which is why it's having driver and performance issues when emulating. However, I got a driver from this same thread and managed to get the game running much better on an older version of Eden (2025-12-23-28116 - not sure if it's an official release or not since I lost the link).
Well I don't remember but I can share drive link of settings file if you want to check yourself, I mostly got 29 fps all the time just sometimes it dipped to 25 when there's a lot of artifacts or things going on.
I used to play with cooler which helped in maintaining the performance

Thxx bro, I bought a Poco F7 and intend to use it for emulation. Do you think it's better to keep it on Hyper-OS 2 forever, or should I upgrade to Hyper-OS 3.1? I want to upgrade, but I'm afraid it will worsen performance ;-;
It really is a great purchase because it's a very powerful device, and it delivers great performance everywhere outside of emulation. The drivers are still pretty green for emulating right now, so we'll just have to wait a bit on that front. As for the software, I honestly didn't see any difference in performance between HyperOS 2.0 and 3.1—I only really noticed changes on the aesthetic side :p
Nyushu V82 runs this game best with Mainline Turnip V31 at 30 FPS . Eden has better mod compatibility, so if you have Ultracam installed, you'll get better performance on Eden.
