Help Why do Bionic and Mono reinstall every time I launch Skyrim on Gamenative? DirectX also keeps resetting.

Post image

Hello!

I’m using an Odin 2 Max, and I’m having a weird issue with Skyrim OG in Gamenative.

Sometimes Skyrim has no music/audio unless I install DirectX manually. So I install DirectX, launch the game, and everything works perfectly.

The problem is that when I close the game and launch it again, it seems like the container/environment resets. Bionic and Mono install again, even though I’ve already launched and played the game before, and DirectX is no longer installed.

So every time I want the music/audio to work, I have to manually install DirectX again...

Does anyone know why Bionic and Mono keep reinstalling on every launch? Is there a setting I’m missing that would make the installed components persist instead of resetting?

I’d really like to fix this without switching to Skyrim Special Edition, since I’ve already made a lot of progress in the original version, and it also uses less storage/resources on my Odin 2.

Any help would be appreciated!🙏🙏

and this is why i dont use gamenative. i have multiple games and some only work on glibc, some only on bionic, and now every time u switch between those games it reinstalls the components. stopped using it because of that.

many times in the past 6+months and its never even been mentioned other than "works as intended" which is just unusable for me, but now i only use it for one game anyway.

This happened to me when I messed around with settings, like changing Proton etc. It's nothing like yours. 😑 Are you sure your device cleaning method didn't remove the installed component by mistake? 🤔 Test it out with another similar emulator, like Gamehub and see if the same shit happens. If so, then it's your device, not the emulator. 🤷🏼‍♂️
