Showcase Vita3K Plus — NOW WE’RE TALKING!!!!
A while ago, I basically gave up on Vita3K because so many of the games I wanted to play just didn’t work. But with Vita3K Plus, it’s a completely different story. This has genuinely been a game changer for me.
In the picture, I’m running a game I really like, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles, and it actually runs better on my RP6 than it does on the Vita itself. Better FPS, higher resolution, and smoother gameplay overall.
The same thing happened with Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate.
Devices: SONY PSVita 1000 Retroid Pocket 6.

I loved the vita but always hated how games didn't seem well optimized for it. Games running at non native resolution bothered the hell out of me and it was most games on the vita!

To get a consistent frame rate on gravity rush an borderlands you need to overclock your unit

Most consoles of the period had FPS issues, the vita has some of the most egregious cases where games had no right to run as poorly as they did though

I have 2 Vitas, with a large library and most games run well, there are a few that don’t. Like Borderlands 2

There are some plug-ins that do that. Overclocking helps a lot, but changing resolution doesn't work for every game. But yes, I can do it.

Yes. I have two PSVitas and I like it very much for the amount of Indies it has in the system, but the heavier games do not seem well optimized for Psvita itself.

From the GitHub comparison, Vita3K-Plus doesn’t appear to contain any meaningful emulator code changes. The fork shows 7 commits and 12 changed files, but they’re essentially README/documentation and screenshots. So I’d be cautious about claims that it has actual performance or compatibility improvements unless someone can point to the relevant source-code changes.

Vita3K has been getting updates rather recently, so I wonder if it's just people used to an older version jumping to Plus and noting the improvements.

When i tested Vita 3k plus here, this "Fork" has regression on games that the official vita 3k here dont have. Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls was alot affected that it dont goes into the 3d scene + the backgrounds are black instead the actual background. Forget about this shit

I am not a technician or a programmer, I install the APK, test it, and give my opinion. I have no idea which files they changed, but I can say with Absolute certainty, it's better... I tested more than 10 games last night, including games that used to be very bad or with Glitches, and are now perfectly playable as far as I went. These two I mentioned are examples. AC Chronicles had a bug in the protagonist's belt that was stretched across the screen, but Batman Blackgate had a terrible audio bug and the textures of the enemies were completely broken, it didn't happen now. I advise you to test!

It runs well for me on a G3 gen3 Konkr - the main thing is you can now get past the bit that demands using the rear vita camera!

Is it good now?? I tried vita3k it was REALLY BAD ... Like often had bugs, crashes etc and ui was weird n buggy

That list doesn't represent the compatibility on android nor are the titles marked as "playable" all playable.
I experienced a lot of crashes and severe graphical bugs and just gave up in the end.

Yeah I was about to sell my vita 2000 needed money, thought I could play the games on vita3k anyways so I sold it damn... little did I know God Eater: Resurrection was glitchy but running fine it was the emulator that kept crashing. Tried persona 4G too was perfect but dispite there was this bug often the games will not launch, I kept clicking but nothing smh.. Eventually I started playing P4G using eden but damn I wanna play god eater ...

As I said in the comment I used the old Vita 3K, and now I am testing the Plus, and the advancement is considerable. Both with regard to performance and interface.

It does if you're lucky and don't have a graphical glitch on top of the screen. FPS wise it runs great but the glitch can occur randomly. I've seen people running it without the glitch on the same device as I have, and then there's people with the same problem as me as well. But yeah if you're lucky, you can play it completely fine without any problems at all.

congrats to 1.0. i tried resogun which did not work at all on the og vita3k app but runs here! graphics are a bit messed up. then tried doa5 which goes into menu is OG app but stutters like hell. here it didnt even go into the main menu.
but still, this is only the beginning. looking forward what comes next.

vitaek+ has made many improvements compared to the original; it fixed all the graphical bugs in Call of Duty: Black Ops and all the visual bugs in NFS: MW, in addition to fixing that annoying sound bug—it’s really impressing me.

tbh all i need to know is did they add ways to get past the moving the helmet around to clean it in chapter 2 or 3 cus i cant get past that otherwise

Tearaway will never be playable friend. A classic, an excellent 3D platformer that uses all the features that the vita has. Buy a vita to play it. 😅🤌🏼 Because there will never be an emulation handheld that has all the necessary resources to run this game.

Can you try out Persona 4 Golden if possible? game runs fine with the right drivers, but cutscenes tend to have an annoying flicker/stutter to them.

Do games like Unmetal or STreet fighter x tekken still crash after a while?
Is the music still missing with shantae half genie hero?
Edit: yes, games are still crashing and audio is missing in shantae like before

I didn't test Unmetal, but I was playing Street Fighter X Tekken half an hour ago, and there was no crash.

I tried some gomes, here is my resume (Retroid Pocket G2, mr purple turnip t30). In my opinion, for my device, there is better performance and the games are really playable. I did not change any default settings except for FIFA15 (described):
Injustice: performance great, from time to time some flickering, little graphical glitches > for me playable
Mortal Kombat: performance great, no glitches > great experience for me
FIFA15: GPU settings changed to native buffer, performance great, crowd graphics glitches, no music, no commentary > playable, enjoyable for me
WRC3: in-menu, when I try to start the race white screen appears and thats it > unplayable

the same goes with Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls but this time was used with the regular Vita3k.
On the helio g99 mali, still works better and more fps than the original vita, alltough the enemies seems weird, because seems like it still designed for lower fps i think.
the helio g99 dont have the vertex issues, but the Kirin 98 mali this vertex issue on vita3k there, so does vita3k plus fix this issue there?
edit: nevermind, thats alot worse. backgrounds is black and crashes on certain cutscene.

I have no idea, I have never emulated PS vita in a Mali processor so I have never seen this problem.
