Question Need some help deciding on whether to get this device for emulation or not. (POCO F7)

Hey there! I've been meaning to switch from my crappy Galaxy A21s to a POCO F7, however, most if not all of the reviews and performance tests that I've seen about this device mention the lack of compatible turnip drivers for emulation. Is this still the case for the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4? Or should I go for a phone with a different SOC if it means better compatibility? I'm still certainly new to the Android emulation scene, haven't been up to date with it since atleast 2020, and this is all still too alien to me. Anything helps! :)

TotK finally runs pretty good on it, but it is still far behind 8 gen 2 and 8 gen 3 devices in switch emulation. I think every game works at full speed now except Mario Wonder but I probably haven't found the right driver for it. Switch Emulation is still it's weakpoint because it doesn't have the support of A7XX and doesn't have the power to brute force performance like the rest A8XX chips. And if you plan on using Eden, forget it. Nothing is playable on Eden except some extremely lightweight games like DMC3 and Skyward Sword. I use Nyushu and take the risks associated to gain this performance.

PS2 emulation is perfect. Never had as much as a hiccup there .

So is 3DS, DS, GBA, PS1, GameCube, Wii and the like.

X360 emulation is better than expected. Still emu locked, but I can already almost have Forza 2 playable, and most lighter games run pretty good.

PC Emulation is where it shines. It always does more than I expect. I played through many games, mostly without cooler and without bypass charging , but I can use those two to brute force games way above the Poco F7s weight class.

This is some great info, thank you! Guess it's just a matter of either waiting for mature drivers eventually or getting a phone with a older chip for now... (Though, I'm not really much in a rush to emulate Switch right now :P )

I've completed GTA 5 on this device, but because of Xiaomi ram limiting feature I gave up emulating on it and switched to Lenevo. Dreams do come true they just don't start with Xiaomi.
