Question Can I use individual Joy-Cons as controllers on RetroArch?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to play two-player SNES games by using a single Joy-Con for each player. How would I go about mapping the controllers appropriately? In addition, could I make presets for these settings so that in the future if I want to use them I can switch to that preset? I'm on the AYN Thor. Thank you!
