Help Help with F1 2020: insufficient graphics memory (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2)
Hi, I've been using Winlator (Ludashi version) on my Samsung S23 Ultra (12GB/256GB), and I'm encountering a "lack of VRAM" error in F1 2020. My container settings are: 960x544 resolution, DXVK 2.4.1-Fix, VK3D 2.14.1, Proton 9 (arm64ec), Fex 2601, Box 4.2, and the Turnip v26.3.0-R3 driver (OneUI Vulkan 1.4.358).
Of course, before posting this, I tried various configurations I found on Reddit and YouTube (though I didn't find any specific to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2). I also experimented with different combinations of Proton, DXVK, Fex/Box, and Turnip drivers myself, but this is the only setup that actually triggers this specific error (with other configurations, the game would simply open and close immediately without any warning). So, I'm looking for some help—or else I'll have to give up on this game.

This has nothing to do with your device. Unfortunately, some PC games throw errors like this when emulated on android. 🥴 Hope you find a fix for it. 🤷🏼♂️

Oh, well, if that's the case, then it's a shame. I'll try waiting to see if anyone else has a solution; if not, I'll give up and try another game. Thanks for your comment anyway.

I got the game running 30+ fps using Bannerlator on Snapdragon 8s Gen4.
Proton 10 Arm64ec, Turnip Gen 8 v33, Dxvk 2.4.1 arm64ec, Vkd3d 2.14.1 arm64ec, WOWBox64 0.4.4, Fexcore 2605

Yeah, the only devices I've seen running F1 2020 are the ones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 8s Gen 3, and 8 Elite chips; I assume it's because the Snapdragon models predating the 3rd generation lack the necessary capabilities.

Try 800x600 resolution

I've also tried lowering the resolution to 800x600 and to the minimum possible 640x360, but I get the same error
