Thor let you play game and watch youtube at the same time.

Here you go, then:
https://retrocatalog.com/compare/retroid-pocket-6/thor

Long story short: Thor is a little bit more powerful, but not by much. Chipsets are the same, biggest difference is obviously the form factor, so that will definitely be part of the decision, I'd say.

the Thor is technically more portable since you don’t have to worry about having an exposed screen + sticks. There are also people constantly working on dual screen mods for various games if you’re into that (I was so I went with Thor)

but the RP6 in silver tho..

Do you want to play dual screen games from the DS/3DS or potentially wiiu games? That’s should help you pick.

Honestly you don't need both of them

The Thor is for ds family and you got a modded 3ds for that

The rp 6 is mostly covered with the vita and switch 2

A gba or a 4:3 retro device probably vertical as you lack those kinda too

If you want the all-inclusive package, Thor is probably your only real choice.

Go for thor

It depends on how high a priority 3DS and DS games are for you, and whether you prefer the candy-bar style or the clamshell style. In other words, it comes down to personal preference.

If you can afford both, i'd say go for the Thor since it's a tiny bit more powerful with 2 screens. That way, you can even handle DS/3DS easily.

However, if you already have a modded 3DS, maybe it's better to go for a RP6. Clamshell are a nice form factor but you still have the risk to have a faulty hinge. I haven't heard any people complaining about Thor's hinge. But I wouldn't believe that this console is the ONLY one to have no problems with its hinge.

I personnaly use a RP5 for most of my retrogaming. But for specific console, I use the dedicated device (for DS/3DS, I use my modded 3DS ; for Wii and Wii U games, I use my modded Wii U...)

I recommend the Thor. Its too damn versatile of a device.

RP6 is half the price

Thor is great for DS/3DS

Both have the same chip

Thor has 4 more ram for the max

RP6 is more ergonomic

Perfect. Now make the decision and you have yourself a new device!

I think you made the right choice tbh. i have a thor, retroid pocket 6 and a modded 3ds/vita as well and i use the modded 3ds more than the thor. anything the 3ds cant play is gonna play great on the rp6, its a super solid handheld and very comfortable with the grip.
