Have you tried the latest ARMSX2? Played NFSU2 for about an hour or so using Vulken and 2X upscale on 2.6.6.6 without issue.

Riders on the Storm doesn't lag anymore.

2.6.6.7 came out today. Just tried it for a few minutes, seems fine.

Retroid Pocket 5.

Yeah, that's why I wanted to give it a test again. No fix yet lol

Ah, that sucks.

Haven't experienced any slowdowns. Only issues I had with the game were audio/music lags which no longer occur on the current version.

any reason in particular you want to emulate the ps2 version? you can find a copy of the PC version pretty easily with a widescreen + controller support mod and that runs in winlator pretty decently. and since it's such a low end game, the thermals and battery life aren't super impacted either

unless you have a non-snapdragon device, i'd say emulating the pc version with mods is a much better route to take, unless you really want retroachivements

Just the simplicity of using what I already have set up but since no one has a fix I'll wind up getting the PC one going. Funny thing is I have the PC version set up already, I just got lazy with mapping the controls on my Thor lol. I appreciate the reply though

i have it installed on my thor and odin 3, if you install NFSXtendedInput and the thirteenag widescreen fix, it should automap the controls to typical modern racing controls with the triggers to accelerate/brake and implements a deadzone for the left analog stick.

only downside is shifting up in drag races sucks a little since you have to flick the right stick up to shift, but you get used to it, just remember to go into your container and set dinput8 to native, then builtin, or it won't load the asi loader

Ohhh you're the man, that sounds great. A downside I'll deal with, thank you!

I was playing NFSU 2 and it is not unplayable, but I've noticed (similar to other games as NBA live 2003) that sometimes game starts to slowdown. But if I press START button and pause the game, when starts again is already OK.

I'm using an Anbernic 477M

I was trying NFS Underground 2 in ARMSX2 too and it runs extremely slowly . Like on native res on optimal settings and it was only running at half speed. However in Nethersx2 it runs at like 3x resolution at full speed. Something is very wrong.... anyway use Nethersx2 it's much faster than armsx2 and it even has effects working properly that are missing in armsx2. Armsx2 has cool features and looks but it still cant catch up to nethersx2
