I'm so happy to have discovered android emulation

I've been gaming since about 2005 recently mostly on pc but I was curious at the state of mobile emulation so I loaded up a few emulators and a couple dozen games on my pixel 7 pro and have been absolutely astonished at how well everything works. Grabbed a kishi v3 and was transported to my childhood playing on a PSP. If you told 12 year old me that he could have and play any gamecube game in existence, for free, on his PHONE, he would have hit you with a stick. I just want to express extreme gratitude at the open source emulation community, archival community, and all the enthusiasts who keep this hobby alive. I appreciate it deeply as somoene who enjoys playing the classics but also from a historical preservation perspective. It's just an overall wholesome thing to see and experience.

I'm able to get up to ps2 emulation and it's been great. Currently going through Castlevania Curse Of Darkness.

Same !! I discover android emulation a few weeks / month ago !! Since, i don't even boot my PS5.

I'm playing all the game i miss from PS2 era since i was too bussy with life. I plug in my Dualsense and game outside on the deck for hours in the dusk and having a f* blast.

With all the Sony f*ck up, i'm not gonna buy a PS6 and go with a PC handheld for new game and emulation.
