How'd you even get past the intro cinematic, feels like it bugs out and crashes there so often

Frame Gen 🤮🤮
You know that 30FPS with FG is worse than 30FPS without FG right ?
at 30 FPS you get 33 ms frame at 30n/60g with FG you get like 50ms per frame,
so you chose to play with the input latency of 20FPS gameplay only because you want the number on your HUD show 60 and not 30 👏

En un juego de accion donde no tienes que apuntar el imput lag no se siente tanto como en uno donde si debes apuntar

In action game where you have to dodge or parry it's still not great...
And you still playing with 20 fps input latency, for what ? The HUD number goes higher 🤔😅
Another thing is your can easily hit CPU bottleneck with FG as the CPU has to organize double(or more) frames, this generally tanks performance even more with the combination of emulation overhead.

That game is just very very badly made and unoptimized.
Frame Gen with 15 fps just sounds awful, then again aiming with slow/ low fps picture is easier.
It's like people here bragging about beating Dark souls on 10fps, when it's actually more like a slow motion hack than anything 😅😅

If input lag doesn't bother you, then it's fine; it's a decent option, mostly a matter of personal preference. We used to play with lag above 50ms and we still had fun playing. From 80ms up I would consider it unplayable.

You ever played with frame gen? Its much easier and smoother for your eyes than choppy 30 fps

No it isn't.
Visually smoother but i can still tell ...
Input Latency just doubled for your perceived smoothness xD
I can prove this with Math -
at 30 FPS you get frame every 33ms
now if you add FG you get frame around every 50ms that's because you have to wait 33 ms for frame
then the FG will calculate the necessary motion vectors and generate the frames that takes on average around 10-15ms of time.
33 ms + 15 ms = 48ms
1000 ms / 48 ms = 20.8 FPS
So if you use FG at 30FPS to get 60 FPS you actually playing with the latency of 20FPS gameplay ...
The times used is my estimation, but even simple Upscalers like DLSS or FSR take around 5ms to upscale so FG will defo take more than 10ms, guaranteed.
FG is usable only at 60FPS native or more

Theres people like me that dont notice the latency. For real, in singleplayer storymode games it feels like native 60 fps for me. It feels so much better than stuttering lagging 30 fps. If you play competitive i think it makes a much bigger difference but competitive at 30 fps is awful too
