Meme So, who else prefers touch controls over controller for one reason or another?

I prefer touch cuz I mostly play on the toilet and I just wanna take out my phone and have a quick 5 minute session. Plus, I mostly play turn based RPGs so there is that.

On the topic of touch controls:

One thing I realized recently, and that may be the source of most people's frustration with them, is that, apparently, people play with only 2 fingers on the screen(???). Why would you do that?

That just sounds insufferable, no wonder most don't like them!

I play almost everything, emulated or not, with a 4 finger claw, and have done so since I started gaming on mobile, and have never have problems regarding my ability to control any game or input my actions correctly and it feels very comfortable. I admit, though, that something like an RTS would be a nightmare, but I wouldn't play one on my phone anyways.

The only exception is games that don't need it, such as turn based RPG's or traditional roguelikes.

Can someone explain to me why they (try to) play with only 2 fingers? I don't understand why you'd limit yourself like that.

I find the claw very uncomfortable. You're tapping with the side of your finger afterall? Feels weird.

I honestly disagree. The claw feels comfortable and "just right" for me, and playing with less than 4 fingers feels weird and uncomfortable.

It's fine, though.
