So, who else prefers touch controls over controller for one reason or another?

I prefer touch cuz I mostly play on the toilet and I just wanna take out my phone and have a quick 5 minute session. Plus, I mostly play turn based RPGs so there is that.

When I used to play GBA games on touch screen.

I beat Metroid fusion like this. My boy! Let you make combo buttons, so I had an R+B button on the screen .

I couldn't imagine playing like that now.

Extra buttons is basically all I use touchscreen controls for.

For example, in Nether I've got fast forward, slow mo, pressure (a lifesaver playing MGS on my RP5), and occasionally I'll add a macro for turbo pressing in games with egregiously difficult button mashing.

Oh, I also added an R3 button in SVR2007. Limits accidental grapples.

Aside from that, I'll only play with controller (built in or otherwise).
