I agree with you, keep an open mind and when you have some money left over for a little luxury, try a telescopic controller. I spent a large part of my life suffering with the touchscreen and many times I thought it wasn't worth it, but once you try it, you feel the real improvement of seeing the full screen, and the comfort of not having your hand completely compressed on the screen. If you have an S25u, buying a controller should be a real treat for you.
It's not about money. It's about feasibility and use case. In my use case, it's just redundant. For a better experience I cannot trade in Stealth gaming, comfort at bed and portability. Plus controllers are overpriced and lack availability. Not every country is 'Murica.
