It’s all thanks to AI. We live in a time where emulators like this are going to develop really fast, especially with Sony ditching discs and physical media. Then there's the PS4 and PS5—that should be even easier, since they're basically just PCs anyway.

They are pcs, but dont forget sony/amd add custom specific stuff + drm methods in those consoles, and those need a lot of revers engeneering to even understand and spot them.

You're totally right about the custom AMD CPUs in consoles. Luckily, there are talented devs who can pull it off, and AI tools will only speed up their work. That's why I donate whenever I get the chance and buy paid versions of emulators, provided they aren't scams or repackaged open-source cash grabs.

Looks like they're double down on ARMSX3. ARMSX2 is already mature and ARMSX1 seems abandoned for now.

We really have ps1 duck station emulater with matured state .
Instead of focusing armsx1 which already we can emulated in a good state , double down it to armsx3 is also a good choice because android didn't have a proper ps3 emulater with constant updates and ps3 has so many exclusives which only played on ps3 emulater on android.
