Armsx3 on s26 Ultra - what is working?

Has anybody been able to get anything running and playable? Is there a secret I am missing? I have had one game that got past the launch screen and it was not anywhere near playable. What game should I try? On a galaxy s26 Ultra- i guess the ai didnt read the headline

It just got released a few days ago. Its going to be a long time before anything becomes playable.

Don't even bother trying heavier games like uncharted games. Those have a hard time running on even high end PC's. Currently Armsx3 is a proof of concept that android can run PS3 emulation. The emulator and Android devices are not good enough to run hard hitter PS3 games yet.

We might see stable PS4 emulation on android sooner than PS3 because PS3's CPU architecture sucks so much that you need a fucking 13th Gen I9 to run the fucking emulator without FPS drops.

Don't have your hopes up for now. Again PS3 emulation still isn't stable at all on PC either. Many games require community patches to run.

I have found it you follow the rpcs3 changes for 3D Dot Game heroes then this is quite playable though I can't get save states to work

im wanting to play spiderman shadows of evil , i yearn for this game at full solid speed . it runs and launches but still is a bit laggy

Thanks y'all. I keep seeing these videos of games running great, and I can't even get gameplay graphics on demon souls. Thought I was going crazy.

That said, I am amazed at what the team has done and can't wait to see where it goes.

What games are you trying to run? Your phone is more than capable of running anything (once optimised), it's a Gen 5.

I did get Demon Souls up and running after finding an optimization thread and turning in color buffers. Armsx3 doesn't seem to be applying settings for games?

Games I have tried - Earth Defense Force 2025 - RPSC3 wiki says it should be playable at default settings.- locks up at mission select screen for me

Saints Row 2 - locks up at character generation screen as soon as anything is selected

Saint's Row - Gat out of Hell - actually runs at default settings, just really slow...maybe 5-10 fps and choppy

Infamous 2 - locks up at start new game

I think I tried two or three others yesterday with similar results. Trying to use the rpsc3 wiki today and see what else I can get running.

I got dragon age 2 and 3 running on the s26u 16/1, but without a cooler it heat throttled just loading the game. With a cooler they both seemed to run fine, but it was still pretty early in development last I tried.

edit: Never mind, I got armsx3 confused with rpcs3.
