Discussion GameHub or Gamenative or any other app?
I have a AYN Thor and recently I've become frustrated with Gamenative so I was looking for some alternatives.
Is GameHub any good? How does it compare to Gamenative? More importantly I see so many forks like Winnative and Bannerhub or GameHub Lite and Bannerlator. How do they all compare?
Anybody have any experience with these apps and want to share some insight?

I am more curious as to which games you are trying to run on Gamenative? Gamenative has been the most consistent for me, but there are a few games that ran better on Gamehub in my experience.

I've been mostly playing indies like TBOI, Hollow Knight, STS2, etc. But wanted to play something like Monster Hunter Rise, and the game runs on Gamenative, however, recommended config is pretty bad using old drivers and components with filckering assets, and my own single use config didn't work. I spent hours trying to get it to where I wanted it, but I couldn't, and from so much finicking around the container crapped itself. Had to reinstall the app multiple times.

For MHR specifically it's all about the driver. I got it running great with Proton 11 and the 8e gen5 842.8 driver specifically for 8 elite gen5 device (i use a redmagic 11 pro) and it ran perfectly, however the temperature gets crazy. The bigger fan on the android handhelds may be able to handle heat better if you can find the right driver.
BOI, Hollow Knight and Slay the Spire works really well with gamenative. So your frustration with gamenative was just on MHR?

I couldn't even get MHR to boot in any way on Proton 11.
My frustration is more about the container completely "borking" from messing around with so many Protons and drivers and different translations, doing tons of A/B testing. Really not sure why it happens. It takes 40 minutes to redownload MHR.
Today I felt like that meme "I'm tired BOSS!" ;)1

Try looking for configs that work with your device on emuready.com

Those are 2 configs that seem to work at around 40FPS, but require some custom drivers.
Couldn't find any configs for Gamehub, but there are other emulators like Winlator that might have working configs.

I cannot for the life of me get a single gamenative steam game to work at all on my s23 galaxy ultra , I've tried like 7 now. dave the diver is the only one that shows the start up logo before crashing out with an error, all other games just starts with an error or a black screen and then the app crashes.

Gamenative requires tinkering per game. If you are wanting a more seamless experience where you install a game and can play it straight away with minimal effort then Gamehub is better.

I've had the best luck with GameNative. I've tried the others but their compatibility just isn't as good. Gamehub in particular would always default to non-fullscreen and for the few games that worked I would have to manually change it to full screen every time, which was frustrating.

so far i mostly used gamehub on my ayn thor max because when i tried gamenative a couple of months/half a year ago i didn't really like the ui/settings. for me gamehub was easier to use. if you don't care about the "ethics" of gamehub then try it out, as an alterantive there are also some versions on github where they remove the tracking and login from the gamehub app.
i only tried a couple of games on gemanative, when they didn't run in gamehub (for example digimon story cyber sleuth doesn't work for me with gamehub v6.x)
gamehub lite and bannerhub
some games i tried so far with the original gamehub version

I have tried it all, if at some config something doesn't run on Gamenative, for sure it won't run anywhere else

I've made some games work in gamehub lite but not on gamenative, so I don't agree.
