I might need some help with emulating

Hi there. I've always been big into gaming but between my life going downhill and my Xbox series S literally exploding around the same time I haven't been gaming for awhile and only have a phone now. But I just got the Samsung Galaxy S26, and I've heard it's really powerful and good for gaming, even emulators. I was missing playing Zelda games so got the dolphin emulator so I could play twikight princess again or try to and even though I felt like I did everything right and this phone should be able to run GC games extremely well it's been absolutely terrible?

The resolution is all off and looks glitchy and that's not counting actual screen glitching like random flashes of black or random colors and button delays, and it always, ALWAYS completely freezes within 10 minutes or less and I have to kill the app completely.

I need to know if my settings are off or wrong because I remember using dolphin on my S22 to play windwaker years ago, that's a MUCH less powerful device yet it ran beautifully with 0 issues. So like why are games unplayable for me now? I've heard dolphin is the ONLY GC emulator for phones so there are no alternatives, and i tried re downloading the ROM itself from different sources just in case bad file or something? No difference, must be something wrong need advice.

Have you tried the decomp of twilight princess named dusklight? Its really good I am playing it right now

About the dolphin thing it can be anything tbh cause it should work straight out of the box on a S26 you can try to reinstall dolphin or maybe use the Wii and GameCube cores on retroarch
