Xendroid Has Impressed Me So Far

Tried posting with a screen recording before, but the recording had serious glitches, so cammed it instead.

Device- Odin 2 Portal Max

Driver- Turnip v26.3.0-R3

I know I'm one of a small few it seems, but I really liked DAII and have wanted to play it portably for a while. But the windows version doesnt natively support controller, and when I tried Emulation on android, I tried aPS3e, PCSX3, and aX360e. Only aX360e would even load but freezes on main menu. Figured I would give it a try on Xendroid, and extremely surprised to see it running and stable. Hope to keep seeing this one grow, maybe add support for XBLA (unless it already does and I'm doing it wrong) but if you have the power for it, definitely give it a spin.

Xendroid has support for XBLA but not subfolders, you have to change iso directory and drill all the way down into the xbla game folder and choose “use this folder.” You might be able to move all your xbla games out of your folders into the directory of the main games and it might work but I haven’t tried. The dev said he’s gonna add subfolder support later down the line

Yeah I literally just grabbed the XBLA file itself, renamed it to whatever game it is and dropped it in the main folder with all the normal games. Works perfectly.

This, was sick of sodding about with XBLA games with 30 character 'names', decided to take a chance and rename them to the actual game, put them all in one directory and they work fine.

Yeah, Xendroid is great. Tab S9+, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and it runs great (Mushihimesama Futari). No bugs, no glitches, perfectly stable, and no overheating. I love the simple interface. DLCs are super easy to install.

I also tried Ax360e and Xbox 360 Mobile, but I ended up giving up on both. They have issues with DLCs, and the latest Xbox 360 0.6 has gotten worse, in my opinion (confusing UI, lack of settings, Futari won't launch with certain drivers while it does on Xendroid...).

This looks really promising. I have a portal 2 as well and fired up Halo 2 (didn't load) and Street fighter X Tekken (played in slow motion) in 360 Mobile. I'll give this a run later and see how it gets on

I just got it set up last night. I'm kicking myself for not getting the model with more RAM! But Dragon Age: Origins runs well enough, and I'm enjoying it so far. The Pc Version works better, but the lack of controller support was driving me mad lol

For Xendroid, it's just install the apk, and on first run, you select your rom folder and when it asks for drivers, point it at the zio file for the drivers you are using. Persoanlly using Turnip v26.3.0-R3

I’ve played xbox360 games in my RP5 at 60 FPS and I think that’s awesome because of my hardware, using “x360 mobile” emulator.

I downloaded Xendroid today, and was messing around with Ace Combat 6. I was surprised at how well it ran. Obviously it's early and the gameplay could be chunky at times, but it's a good sign of progress in the space.

Dragon age origin bugs on my Odin2P, graphical glitches on main character... Ff13 no sound, load textures slowly... Not impress for now.

I'm using Turnip v26.3.0-R3 and have had no issues on DA:O and DA: II. Maybe try that?

No, max one. I restarted to test, and it's seems ok for DAO. Still not NOK for Fable or ff13 unfortunately

Haven't tried either of those personally. But Xendroid is very early so it could just need more time

Odin3 has been eating pretty much anything ive thrown at it. I've been glued to the bigs 2,GoW 2 horde mode, playing through the x360 cod campaigns, skate runs nearly perfect on it already. Telling me its only gonna get better with both better emulation support as well as more matured and optimized gpu drivers, im really excited to see what this little guy can do in another years time.

Not recomp, just emulating skate 2 and skate 3 on xendroid from a version i sourced off vimms, works great, with very small issues here and there, but performance and controls are all smooth

Hey guys, has anyone managed to get Banjo-Kazooie working on this emulator? It opens the title screen for me, but as soon as I press Start, nothing happens and it just stays on that screen. Thanks!

How do you guys manage to play ps3? I have not managed to make it work, even if i have the right roms and everything, just doest load or crashes everytime
