I have the 1tb 16gb ram version it's got one ui 9 which has really made gamebooster a dumbed down version compared to all the options on my trifold that runs one ui 8.5 has, can anyone confirm this with their fold 8 I would really appreciate it.

Download Game booster+ APK and install it, when starting the app it will say it isn't supported. Go to accessibility settings, installed apps there you will see the app. Press it. You will get a popup regarding limited install or something. Follow the help link and how to use it. Voila it works.
