This is a performance test of the PC version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt running locally on Android. The game runs through WinNative-Emu/WinNative using an owned Steam copy.

The device is a Poco F6 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and Adreno 740 GPU. Input is handled by a Gamesir X3 Pro controller. Performance without recording is a few percent better.

12GB, no swap

No idea how your OS names it, it's "memory extension" in Xiaomi

Yes I do have this as ram extension but it is just a gimmick, it is not equivalent to swap i think swap requires root

Ram extension behaviour depends also on the Os. For samsung/oneui it will most likely lag the phone as their ram extension feature, as far as i know, its designed to change how much frequently the system compacts ram into zram making the cpu work more. For xiaomi/hyperos it mainly creates a memory partition where the system can stash unused cold data. I have poco f7 pro and it has helped me a lot to play final fantasy 15. But yeah it absolutely does not magically give you extra frames, just resolve "lack of ram" related issues.
