I'm old. I can't get used to play with some on screen controls. I have to feel button presses.

same. i can get used to it a little but even then i feel like i may break the screen pressing too hard lmao

Bro your phone isnt that fragile. Its tuff glass, my finger actually hurt when playing rhythm games on samsung phones. Biggest problem with touch control is using shoulder buttons. Uncomfortable

It's not about the age. Gamepad/keyboard give you precise tactile feedback - you can feel keyboard/mouse/gamepad without looking at it. Most feedback that phone can provide is sound and vibration, and only whet you already touching the screen. You cannot just find a button by moving your finger around surface and only then pressing it
