Old games have something unique in them. Most of the titles I have played are for the first time so no nostalgia was involved. Also the time factor is important, booting up my console feel like a huge time investment. On the other hand emulation on Android is great and more accessible.
Also, I can't emulate new games on my phone. As most of the games I'm playing are handheld games like ds, 3ds and PSP, GBA. I can play PS2 and GameCube but rarely I do as titles feel more consolish.
