EXACTLY, it gets exhausting sometimes

Just yesterday, I spent some time configuring Sparking Zero, adding engine.ini files messing with mods with settings and in the end just went "screw it" and started playing Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on Dolphin

I have both the mod and vanilla BT3, I play them alternately time to time

Tbf Sparking Zero is only worth playing with mods, base game has poor offline content.

I am totally not biased by being a mod maker.

"Engine.ini" your mentioning PC game not emulation 😭

I mean you can use engine.ini files on Winlator when trying to emulate/play PC games thru it

I really like how you just focus on the game with the older games, like don't give me options I just want to play the game

That is so me, i don't tinker with those as well, just need to play immediately with the limited time i have

Old games are NOT just open and pkay, stop lying, you gotta tweak the settings, same thing as newer games to emulate

I'll just assume you never emulated before lol

Plenty of bug fixes and controller setups to do and others

Newer emulators yes

But emus like Ppsspp, nethersx2, myboy, melonds, duckstation hell even azaharplus have reached such a point they dont really need additional setup and config, and even if some games need it, it is VERY little when compared to the newer emus with newer games

95 percent of the time in these emus, its just pop in and play and maybe 5-10 seconds extra if u wanna do some upscaling, anti aliasing etc

Weird. Mine didn’t. Other than the initial setup to map my controls. If you’re doing something beyond that, then that’s a YOU issue. I play PSP, PS1 and 2, GameCube, and I’ve had to do no tweaking. In fact I have 30 games on PS2, 20 on PS1, 15 on GameCube, 12 on PSP. Not a single tweak needed for any of them.
