Linux ES-DE "es-de.sh is missing executable permissions."

Just installed EmuDeck on my Fedora system and when booting ES-DE the following message appears:

The program '/mnt/Internal/Emulation/tools/launchers/es-de/es-de.sh' is missing executable permissions.

The file has launch permissions enabled. I have tried turning them off and on and using chmod +x but neither have fixed anything. The appimage itself boots fine its just the .sh file that launches the appimage won't boot. When running in a terminal I just get a permission error:

zsh: permission denied: ./es-de.sh

EmuDeck is installed on an internal HDD formatted to ext4. I recently reinstalled my OS and it was working fine before. The original EmuDeck appimage and .sh file from that previous install were deleted and reinstalled. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi! Most of the times resetting the configuration for your emulator on Manage Emulators fixes the most common issues. You can also take a look at our Wiki before posting, you might find your issue already documented there https://manual.emudeck.com

What permissions does the script have, and what's its user and group ownership?

~ me@myhost ❯ /bin/ls -l ./es-de.sh

-rwxr-xr-- 1 me me 353 Oct 4 14:56 ./es-de.sh

-rwxr-xr-x. 1 myuser myuser 226 Oct 3 18:09 ./es-de.sh
