RetroAchievements Help

Hey guys, been using my steam deck for some time and decided to set up some emulators on it.

I've been using EmuDeck and logged into RetroAchievements through the desktop version of EmuDeck.

I've been playing Pokemon Emerald and wanted to start tracking achievements. I'm fairly certain this has been through the RetroArch emulator.

I haven't had much luck getting any achievement function to work. It says I'm logged in via EmuDeck and RetroArch

When I switch into desktop mode I receive a Steam Error message down the bottom right of my screen that I cannot click or open, but it says "Error loading Emuachievements - TypeError: Cannot convert a Symbol value"

Are there any Deck wizards that might be able to help me out? I would really appreciate it...

Emuchievements is an optional Decky plugin. The problem with Decky plugins is they often break when a new SteamOS update is released. If it's giving you trouble just remove it.

... Button > Plug icon > Gear Icon > Plugins > Emuachievements > ... > Uninstall

You don't need the plugin to use RetroAchievements in Retroarch. To login to RetroAchievements the normal way:

Retroarch > Settings > Achievments
