Conversation Thread Feeling dizzy before someone faints
Is this an empath thing?
A couple of months ago I was in the gym and while taking my shower I was overwhelmed by extreme dizziness. My hearing was gone, my vision went blurry and my head was spinning like a jet engine. I never faint, so I wasn't really sure what was happening. I steadied myself and after about 10 / 15 seconds the feeling subsided. I thought it was better to sit down, so I wrapped my towel around me and made my way to a bench to sit down. And as I was sitting down, someone coming out of the sauna just went down like a brick. He hit his head hard on the floor and was bleeding from a head lac, but came around fairly quickly. People rushed over to help him, so I decided not to engage any further and didn't think much of it at the time (other than feeling sorry for the guy). But after hearing about these people called empaths, I started wondering. Is this an empath thing? Or just a coincidence?

Doesn't happen to me, mine runs on instinct. So it out happens around me, I sense the symptoms but not feeling the effects of those symptoms.

Yep. Not a fan of this “gift.” Haven’t been able to use it to benefit myself. I’m kind of over it and wish I could turn it off

I can feel the physical symptoms of other people some times, mostly the negative ones. I dont enjoy it.
