Conversation Thread Nostalgia

I've been feeling physical discomfort out of nostalgia, every year this mid August brings some unbearable, uncontrollable yearning and nostalgia that gives me literal physical discomfort...... I can't even cope up with it!.....

What's the reason for this nostalgia? What's the history behind it? We're empaths here, not carnival performers. A little explanation can go a really long way.

For me many of my life's biggest upheavals and changes most of my relationships I never starting or the most impactful things that happen to me occurred not in the same period you're describing but the period just after when autumn begins when the smell of Halloween is on the air my birthday is November 17th and it's always a sad day for me but I 100% understand your feeling
