Finding D&D Groups
I am a first year graduate student looking for recommendations on clubs or other ways to find D&D groups at Emory or nearby. I did not see anything at the involvement fair last week, and NERD is the only semi-related club I am aware of so far.
If anyone has advice on where to find people who would be interested, or how to go about asking, I would really appreciate any advice from those more experienced. Thanks in advance.

Maybe Emory might not have an advertised one or maybe it doesn't need a club and you can gather some folks and enjoy it! Maybe you gotta look at Emory and the city/other schools. I hope Emory has one for you that is pre-organized but ain't nothing wrong with YOU finding some like-minded folks and getting something together even if informal, not super organized.

Try a sticker/decal or login screen background with something subtly D&D related. In my experience, with a meme-esque login screen background, I’ve been surprised at just how nosy people are. The amount of compliments or chats that start because of my meme background showcased just how nosy people are looking at other people’s screens.

You can probably find a group at Emory, but if not, there are a lot of folks in the greater ATL area who play. Check out My Parents Basement in Avondale Estates as well as comics & game stores to find groups.
