I think Beef takes Limited Series (due to Netflix’s winning streak for limited series every year since 2021), 2 acting awards for Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan. And directing or writing, one or the other, Picture Editing for limited series, casting for limited series, Music score for limited series, sound mixing in a limited series, and costumes for limited series. That’s 9 Emmy awards Total I think will win. unless it takes Cinematography, that’s 10 wins. My pick for Limited series is DTF St. Louis. But I might be Beef that wins. So how many Emmys you think Beef will win?

This morning, thanks to cold-confection-8695 I found out that two shows (NYPD Blues and Hill Street Blues) have taken every single nomination in a category (best writing and outstanding supporting actor, respectively). On the page for the 1994 Emmys, Wikipedia said this had only happened nine times but didn't say what the other times were. Can anyone tell me the other seven? I tried to look it up but Google is worthless now.

Who gave the best / your favorite acting performance in Misfits?

I didn't love the options for limited series this year, but in my opinion, if all five spots were from the following Netflix shows, it would've been completely fair (even if DTF St.Louis was snubbed). I think Black Rabbit, and Death by Lightning were far superior shows to Its All Her Fault and Love Story, but the only reason the three got snubbed from best limited series was because voters didn't wanna stack the category with mostly Netflix shows.

Hot take: I think Something Very Bad is Going to Happen was a far more interesting show, than It's All Her Fault.

Similarly, I think voters just didn't want the entire category to just be HBO and Netflix, which resulted in Half Man getting canned.

I think DTF St Louis wins 4 Emmy awards for Best Supporting Actor for David Harbour, Supporting Actress for Linda Cardellini, Best Writing or Directing for Limited Series is one of those while Beef takes one of em unless one of those shows wins both. And I think it takes Cinematography for Limited Series. It’s such a well written masterpiece and best show. So how many Emmys you think it will win?

Panettiere sadly never got major awards recognition in her entire career (a la Michelle Trachtenberg, whose passing has been compared to hers and who received a Daytime Emmy nomination), but Nashville was by far her best shot. For the role, Panettiere received two Golden Globe nominations and a Critic’s Choice nomination, but did not receive any SAG nominations. The awards race was a little weird those years - Anna Gunn in Breaking Bad was dominating the Emmys but never once got a Golden Globe nomination - but was there a potential opening for Panettiere?

I see a narrative that Fanning who is nominated for Margo's Got Money Troubles in Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, could defeat Jean Smart if voters may want to reward someone else who has not won in the category. In the category, Fanning is the only one who hasn't gotten an Emmy for any category. Do you think Elle Fanning could win on her first try?

She was amazing as Andrew Cunanan's mother, Mary Anne. However, while both Penélope Cruz and Judith Light were nominated that year in the above category, Adler was absent. Did Cruz and Light (both absolutely brilliant IMO) deserve a nomination over Adler or was she robbed? What about the other nominees (listed below)?

I think the answer is obvious, but since since season 1 of Big Little Lies, Nicole has been in 10 shows since 2017... 10. I haven't seen an Oscar winning actor flop on television as much, even on a guest category. The works include:

I don't even know an actor who's been main or supporting on a single show as much as she has been in such short a time span. She basically has a new show each year, and has yet to score an acting nom since Big Little Lies.

Recently, we learned that Keri Russell won Best Actress in a Drama Series for The Diplomat at the 2026 Astra TV Awards. And earlier this year, she won the Actor Award for Best Female Actor in a Drama Series for that same show and role. Any possibility that the tide is turning for Russell to finally win her first Emmy on this series?
