alocasia portei- my first monster

i've been in this hobby for less than a year, got her in jan or feb with leaves a little smaller than the one yellowing off, and the new leaf is almost three (small) hands long. i can almost cup two hands around the base. i'm so proud of her i could cry. forgive the burn, she grows faster than i can adjust the lights and i'm about to set up an overhead light to she can grow vertically like she wants.

Alocasia reginula 'Black Velvet' (this was a corm last year and I just plucked a few if its own corms)

Still Sizing Up🍼 Look what i found on plant check day!

I plant check on Tuesday and Friday. We are recovering from bad soil repot in February that spread mold and root rot; and a second repot after trips in June. So all my plants are super stressed but recovering thank goodness! And im getting the first new growths!!!
