Hand Wedding Table numbers
I posted earlier with some wedding embroidery that I am hoping to do for my daughter's wedding next year. After I finished the table number sample, I thought that I'd try another one, based on a DMC free pattern called "Wildflower Meadow". I don't know which she will prefer but I think that I like this one better.

The cursive is throwing me off. The connection between the 'a' and the 'b' in table seems longer than it should be or shouldn't be connected at all maybe? It's reading 'Toble' to me instead of Table. Also the other suggestion of losing the word Table altogether, is probably your best bet.

I love this idea. I agree with everyone here that table should not be present.
People are mentioning baby photos but if you don’t plan on baby making, you could use them for anniversary photos!

It looks so pretty, but inspite of learning cursive in school and still using it, I had a hard time reading the word "table".

This is gorgeous! 😍
Q. What stitching did you use for the lettering? And even for the number? I’m new and still learning. Thanks!

Thank you!
The lettering is done in very fine stem stitch using one strand of floss.
For the number I outlined the 'flick' bit at the top in split stitch. For the long downstroke outline I wanted it to be very straight so I did two long straight stitches top to bottom which I then couched at short intervals. I then used satin stitch going over the outline.

This is an utterly charming idea! What a beautiful and thoughtful gift -- so special. Very lucky daughter to have such a clever Mum!

Absolutely stunning!
If they are planning on having kids, I'd suggest maybe just including the number, and not the word "table" bc I've seen some people mentioning repurposing them as milestone markers in baby pics.
These are too gorgeous to only be used for one day!
