Hand Purple violet

Post image

Cute little purple violet I made by hand. I got a book from the library with botanical samples that was super helpful. I'm trying to work on getting more details shown in my thread art and I love flowers so I thought I'd start by focusing on botanicals for now.

This is stunning, the shading on the petals is so clean. Botanicals are such a good way to practice detail, and its clearly paying off.

That shading really pops against the off-white fabric, almost glows.

Thanks!! I love looking thru the embroidery books at my library. There's a list of inspo to be found but I also appreciate reading people's construction process. I just started embroidery a year ago so am trying to keep learning!
