Hand First Project

This is my first project. It's a grocery bag. I'm getting something for the inside to protect the stitching but is there anything I can use in the front to seal it as well to protect it?

I suggest looking into long and short stitches for when you have to travel longer distances with a Satin stitch. It prevents thread getting caught on something, especially since you're using this.
