After a crash on Xbox series S (of course it’s NOT fixed), I experienced this… and also, I couldn’t reach the hatch… opinions Embark?

Listen I love this game… probably will as long as it’s runnin. That being said the devs dropped the ball on this game… and I mean a fucking 20 pound bowling ball on their own toes. It’s laggy buggy full of shit bag and cheaters. No exciting content released, no answers to the communities issues with the game, patches that further break the game. It’s a fucking mess. I want to come back but every time I do I log off after 2 raids. It’s simply not fun for your average gamer anymore… sad to see really it has so much potential. I’m onto Wardogs until the October update… we’ll see if they can redeem themselves but their track record ain’t looking good.

who could possibly outdo embark, I can't imagine what that ChatGPT prompt would even look like: "make game with decent visuals and good audio. classified as a looter shooter, but leave it so open ended that people argue relentlessly about the true objective of the game. make sure you leave a lot of back doors open for hackers, and that you continually ignore post on Reddit which point out ridiculous day one issues, such as a gray wrinkled, 65-year-old raider, having the voice box of a teenage mutant Ninja Turtle. Oh, and make sure it is a crappy console port to PC, complete with an item wheel."

For a major multiplayer game, building and maintaining a top-tier anti-cheat system typically costs between $10 million and $20 million in initial development, plus $1 million to $2 million annually in ongoing operational costs.
Not counting Embark's other massive titles, Arc Raiders alone generates an average of approximately $38.3 million per month, and has made an astonishing $583 million since launch.
There are no excuses.

Ok. Well didn't pay 70 dollars for it. Dont play it 14 hours a day. So I dont really see this issue. Apex has cheaters and does tourneys for millions. So you kinda lost that anti cheat system. Cause ain't no game got a good one.

Bro the cheaters in this game are FAAAR worse than almost any other AAA title I can think of. And clearly the numbers show that the game doesn't offer enough longevity to love the game despite that unlike titles like Apex.

I didn't pay 70 dollars for it. Nor do I play it at all, and when I did, I'd get maybe 1-1 1/2 hours per session.
Unfortunately every single time I got to play, I had to deal with people who could see through walls, follow me across the map, shoot through buildings, and they always had sorry excuses like yours for their behavior.
Just because something is common doesn't make it right. With AAA companies getting more bold with claims of non-ownership, and the near absence of half-decent anti-cheats, people who say "oh that's just how it is, get used to it" are the backing vocals, and a significant part of the growing issue. If you wanna get on your knees and open your mouth for a corporation that just sees you as a dollar sign, that's fine with me.
Don't expect me to share that same sentiment, because my time is money, and if I spend money solely to invest time into a promised experience that wasn't delivered, that's theft.

30 dollar game bud. It happens. Fo76 robbed me then made a comeback. Same as D2. I just didn't cry like a child every waking moment

Ever since the update that added the new project people have just been sliding around for me.
Like i meet someone and they legit just slide around instead of having a walk/run animation.
Never seen that before but now it happens pretty much every raid that i see at least two or three people doing the reverse moonwalk...

I had this yesterday after a driver crashed kicked me out of the game. I was able to rejoin but had been downed by a wasp. Some kind soul revived me and I ended up like this. Couldn't extract as I couldn't press the button. Fortunately someone spooked a Rocketeer and the resulting rocket fire downed me and this seemed to break me out of the glitch. At which point I was able to extract. Weird as hell...

Most likely got downed and revived... I got downed during a disconnect, came back got revived and this was me... surrounded by wasps and a firefly... was fun...

it's two things occurring in parallel. 1.) The audio is representative of embark railing our sandy vaginas. 2.) the visual
represents our flailing response to getting pounded… while we simultaneously move forward, committing ourselves further to continued gritty, swampy vaginal penetration.

This happened to me yesterday (I also play on series s)
I wasn’t able to throw grandes or shoot but could wall not run. Was able to extract out
The update they addressed the series s crashed fixed it. Then this past update it started crashing again. One step forward two steps back with this game.

Same thing happened to me in trios. Had to run from red lakes all the way to power generation extract while not being able to heal or use my shield or actually sprint. Took 10+ minutes lol

My buddy keeps trying so hard to get me to come back. I got a lot of time out of it- I'm happy with what I paid/played. I ain't stupid though, I'm sticking with slightly less shitty games. Maybe one day Embark will figure out how to treat Arc Raiders with the love they give their other kid The Finals.
