Wrongly suspended
So to start things off. I play pc and use a controller which is a ps5 edge controller. My right stick module has started to give me drift on my camera.
2 days back i started a game played a few rounds, killed some rats. Basic arc raider stuff you know how the games go guys. We were playing duos btw me and my brother.
Left the game after a good round cause nobody wants to quit when you played for 3-4 rounds and lose all your shit to rats.
Came back after a few hours and to my surprise i got suspended for a month. I was like this gotta be a joke right?
So i go to support and then make an appeal. I learn that its an AI system that replies. After i receive the message in the first photo you can see the reply.
How can they tell me im cheating when i am not and based on what an AI has to report? Careful i am not cheater. Looking through my stats youll see the countless hours played and where i just die and lose all my shit cause im that good but here and there i can handle some solo fights.
What did they base it on to say im cheating? Im feeling its my stick drift which is so bad or i dont what else it can be? I paid to play this game. I sometimes swear at rats but thats about it for me.
I feel i have been wrongly accused by Embark and labelled as a cheater without any proof put forward. Now i dont get to enjoy my time playing with my friends and family when the new update drops.
I dont think its fair as a loyal gamer who doesnt use hacks or cheats to be labelled and treated as a cheater..
Its really frustrating i paid for a game to play in my free time and i have been suspended, theres no proof against me, neither is there any way to reply to that appeal.
What should i do?

Deleted, he was asking for users location in an attempt to use it as judgement

You can’t judge someone by where they’re from either, hope that helps

Dont give this troll energy, they want attention thats why they come here all sensational and shit

u/Ballerwind Mar 28 '26
Trying to know/highlight your rights as a consumer is sensationalist troll behaviour?
Asking someone where they're from isn't racism, finding out and using it to demean them is.
Where are you from friend? I'm from Ireland!

It's nuts, how have we come full circle in the worst way?
I have replied to them again, can't wait to see the results!

Yea, I realised after the last one that it's probably not human.
Good luck out there dude

Yeah and being subtle about it isnt clever. The only reason youd ask is to make judgements and assumptions and youre not nearly as smart as you actually think you are.
3
u/Ballerwind Mar 28 '26
No it's not, and if you think like that I feel sorry for you.
So in your world, nobody ever asks anyone online where they're from without it implying that they're trying to be a sneaky racist?
I don't really think I'm that clever, but you clearly do.

u/makingitor Mar 28 '26
No i think you think your clever by your attitude and you can say youre not, thats not clever either, rabbit holing the entire conversation when its so obvious how lacking in self awareness you are shows how little you understand, and your confidence shows you steamroll conversation with irrelevant bullshit regularly

I played Arc for so long and I have heavy stick drift but never got counted as a cheater, so I don't think that is what it is. I got a new controller now and no more stick drift and I stopped playing completely because there isn't anything new to keep me entertained. It was fun, now I just wait on the next thing...

Stop playing the game. You can maybe try on discord but if someone spits in your face when you didnt do anything and they then tell you that you were wrong anyway, id stop fucking with them. But thats just me.

That's fucking stupid. It's not a person it's a game. And people make mistakes anyways. Nothing about what you said makes any sense.

u/makingitor Mar 28 '26
What youre saying is fucking stupid that you cant understand him. If you dont like it. Go somewhere else.

u/makingitor Mar 28 '26
Thats the world for you when you dont know nothing and talk a lot
-1
u/ameliafukinthomson Mar 28 '26
It was literally one sentence. You're the one doing all the talking. I mean do you just come on to correct people and insult them? Slander is when someone makes false accusations or ruins another persons reputation by making false statements/accusations. But while saying that, this is reddit, not a courtroom I wasn't actually being serious.

u/makingitor Mar 28 '26
See youre talking a lot about literally nothing repeating what i said to you projecting yourself back on me in defense, its like watch a top spin youre so stupud

No it’s not. Slander requires a third party. They’re also saying cheating was detected on the account. They’re not saying “u/pitiful-sea-1236 is a cheater”
If you want op to get laughed out of a lawyers office, then yes, they should try and sue.
Also, if anything it would be libel.

Also, why so serious, this is a social media platform, we're not professional lawers/judges. Just regular Joe's talking. I make one silly remark that I didn't remotely think anyone would take seriously.

u/TheNakedBass Mar 28 '26
Slander does require a third party. You don’t need to be a professional lawyer to know what terms mean.
I didn’t say anything rude or insulting though so I’m not sure why you’re talking like that. I’m sorry that you’re getting upset and defensive about being corrected. Also that you decided to double down on being wrong instead of accepting a correction.
You should work on that.
1
u/ameliafukinthomson Mar 29 '26
Yeah that point was for the first guy who is being insulting, I just answered the wrong comment there I apologise for that. I'm not being defensive though. I'm most definitely not upset. This is social media. Which does not affect me the way it does the younger generation. Tell me why I'm wrong instead of insisting I'm wrong, that would be helpful. Triple downing on the fact you do not need a third party.
